IPU-USA Clinic welcomes the New Director of Administration

We are delighted to welcome to IPU-USA Clinic the newly appointed Director of Administration, Mr. Joseph Onyegbula Umeh, a seasoned healthcare administrator with over two decades of distinguished service in healthcare administration.

Beginning a remarkable career at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, in October 1999 as a Personal Assistant to the Medical Director, Mr. Umeh demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline, and leadership potential early in his career. Following the successful completion of his Master’s degree, he transitioned into the Administrative Department as an Administrative Officer—where his career continued to flourish. Through hard work, strategic insight, and a commitment to excellence, Mr. Umeh rose steadily through the ranks till he retired as a Deputy Director on October 18, 2023.

During his tenure at FMC Umuahia, he held several critical leadership and service roles, including:

• Personal Assistant to the Medical Director

• Secretary to the Board of Clinical Services and Training

• Administrative Officer overseeing supply chain, consumables, and logistics coordination

• Secretary to the Disciplinary Committee

Mr. Umeh’s wealth of experience spans healthcare administration, institutional governance, logistics management, and organizational discipline—making him exceptionally equipped to lead and strengthen administrative systems at IPU-USA Clinic Isuochi.

He brings with him a clear and impactful philosophy—that patients value effective, high-quality healthcare delivery that truly addresses their needs, and organizations achieve their goals faster under efficient and prudent management.

With his proven track record, strategic mindset, and passion for service excellence, we are confident that his leadership will usher in a new era of efficiency, growth, and improved healthcare delivery at IPU Clinic Isuochi.
